The approving authority for driver licenses in FLWG is Florida Wing Transportation Officers,
Lt. Col. Jim Spieth, Major Nancy Spieth and Lt. Bill Leszczynski.
 
All applications for licenses are to be submitted to Lt. Bill Leszczynski at  bleszczynskiS@flwg.us .
  
The procedures to follow to apply for a CAP Driver Licenses are:
  
1. Go to main menu in eServices
  
2. Click on Operations
  
3. Select Operations Qualifications
  
4. Click on Driver’s License
  
5. Enter CAP ID
  
6. Enter dates as requested
  
7. Scan Driving Record to a PDF file, upload the file where it says, and upload driving record. Three years of driving history required. The driving record cannot be more than 90 days old.
  
8. Scan front and back of your driver’s license on one PDF file, then upload
  
9. Click on Sedan, cargo van, 7 passenger, 8 passenger, 9 passenger, and 12 passenger vehicles.
  
10. Click submit, bottom left of page.
  
11. After submission is completed, send an email through the squadron commander to the group commander.
  
12. Either the group commander or designated representative will approve the request for a CAP License and forward to FLWG Transportation for final approval. Do not send copies of the driver license and driving history to with the eMail.
  
13. The group commander/designated representative will access Driver Qualification, Operations Qualifications for review. If found acceptable they will forward the eMail to FLWG Transportation for final approval.
  
Once FLWG approves the license, you will need to print out a new 101 card. This will show the vehicles you are licensed for. Any questions, feel free to email, call or fax.
